- (From a Doctor of Optometry)
- Dear Sir,
- I have recently received a pair of Hyperindex Minus Aspheric lenses from Dr. Dennis Weiss in Traverse City, Michigan, and I am very pleased.
Having had poor eye-sight and glasses for approximately 28 years, I have finally received lenses that are both light-weight and of superior quality. I can honestly say my vision seems to be improved. An increased and undistorted peripheral field of vision is definitely an added benefit. Cosmetically, they also appear to have less facial distortion.
I very much appreciate your interest in improving the quality of lenses, and I await your newest developments.
Sincerely,
Jay A. Klein, D.O.

(From an Optical Laboratory Owner)
(This letter was sent to Optima from the Chairman of the board of a major optical laboratory)
Dear Sir,
Thought I should let you know my tremendous satisfaction with the Hyperview 1.66 aspheric progressive lens.
During the past year I have been wearing the Rodenstock Progressive "Life" lenses with great comfort. The Life lens in my opinion is the best optically-designed Progressive lens that technology has so far developed.
My Hyperview lenses were completed this past Friday. After adjusting the frame I started wearing the new lenses at 5:30 p.m. By 5:40 p.m. (just 10 minutes later) I was fully adjusted to the thinner, flatter, lighter lenses, and have worn them all my waking hours since that time.
My vision is great. My lab can credibly market the Hyperview 1.66 as "The Natural Sight" ULTIMATE progressive lens.
Sincerely,
Mr. B.

(This letter was sent to an eyecare practitioner that dispenses our lenses)
Dear Sir,
I'm writing you this note to let you know how pleased I am with the new Hyperview lenses you fitted me with not long ago.
I have been wearing glasses for many years, but bifocals were not necessary until five or six years ago. Since that time I have been through a succession of lenses none of which approximated my normal vision and all required a long adjustment period.
There always seemed to be a blurring at the corners of my vision and the necessary head movements when adjusting from distance to close focus always seemed awkward and unsatisfactory.
Not so with these new lenses. The adjustment was instantaneous, there was never any blurring, and no head movements were necessary when adjusting my focal point. As an added bonus these glasses are so light I sometimes forget I have them on and the unsightly "lens bulge" that made my former glasses look like coke bottles has disappeared.
All in all I am extremely pleased. Thanks for your recommendation of these lenses and your considerate and professional follow up care.
Sincerely,
Mr. John G.
(From a trifocal wearer who switched to HYPERVIEW® 1.66 progressive a no-line bifocal)
Dear Sir,
I have been wearing glasses since I was five years old. I am very farsighted and started wearing bifocals over 25 years ago. The last four years I have been in trifocals. The first optician that I consulted about getting these lenses said the thin lenses wouldn't really be that thin because I am so farsighted. She also thought that I would have trouble adjusting to the progressive lenses because I have been in trifocals for so long. Well it is now a week later, and I am all adjusted. Over the last 20 years, whenever I approached the optician about getting a different style frame or more recently about getting thinner lenses, they always said, "with your strong plus prescription just stay with what you have."
Well, here I am with my new prescription. I now have glasses that I love and that have won rave reviews. They are very thin, no bifocal lines, everything appears so clear, and they're the first fashionable frames I have had in years. I really have to laugh at myself; I find myself acting like a teenager checking my reflection in store windows to see how great I look. This is pretty remarkable (and a little funny) when you consider I am almost 70.
I don't know when I've gotten such a kick out of getting something new. Thank you so much. What a wonderful advance these lenses are. This is such an outstanding product. I hope you are wildly successful. I'll sure do my part to spread the word. And I'll start with the first optician who doubted they would work.

Dear Sir,
A quick note of thanks. When I originally got my Optima prescription glasses, they were so light, it took a day or so to get used to them. I almost felt like there was nothing on my face. I wear my glasses all day long and the difference was immediately noticeable. After a couple of days, they felt as though I were wearing them my whole life.
Then a funny thing happened. We were heading from New York to Connecticut, where we have our weekend house, and I realized that I had left my Optima lenses sunglass clip in New York. As a result, I was forced to wear my old glasses (and sunglass clip). I could not believe the difference. My old glasses where suddenly monstrously heavy. Now you should understand that my prescription is not that serious (-3.5). Nonetheless, I could really appreciate the dramatic difference between my old (conventional) lenses and my new Optima lenses. The whole weekend, I felt as though I was running around with lead weights on. Thanks again.

Dear Sir,
I just wanted to let your company know how pleased I am with the Hyperindex 1.66 lenses that are in my new glasses. Having significantly poor vision, I was used to having to choose sturdy frames that could support the older, thick, heavy lenses. With the Hyperindex lenses, I can now wear small, lightweight eyeglasses and still have excellent vision. It's hard to believe that such a thin lens can provide so much clarity and vision correction.
Regards,
Mrs. P

I won a pair of Hyperindex 1.66 lenses in your certificate sign up contest, and these lenses are great! I had them mounted in a Titanium frame and these are the lightest most comfortable pair of glasses that I have worn in more than 45 years (I got my first pair when I was seven, 45 years and several diopters ago! Better yet, these glasses have replaced a recently purchased expensive pair of progressive no-line bifocals! I can see and read fine print easily with these single vision lenses as long as there is good room light available. And the high index lenses and anti-reflective coating really improves ones appearance. Many thanks for these
lenses, you have made me and my high myope family happy and loyal customers!Mr. James R. , Arlington, IL

I finally got my new glasses today! I won a free pair of lenses from this site. I ordered two pairs of glasses, one pair with the Optima lenses and one pair with regular plain jane lenses. The pair with the Optima lenses is so much lighter and thinner than the other pair. It feels like I'm not wearing anything! It's even better than contacts because the glasses look GREAT, and there is none of the discomfort or maintenance that contact lenses require! I love these lenses so much I want to get another pair and have them tinted to wear as sunglasses! I'm waiting to see if my husband notices when he gets home from work, but my two year old son already told me, "Mommy's glasses cool!" I LOVE IT!!!

These lenses are amazing! People don't believe I have prescription lenses; they're so thin. Vision is definitely enhanced and clear. When talking to the eye-care practitioner, he mentioned this is definitely the lens of the future and what he sees more and more customers moving towards. Thanks Optima!

I like the way they look and feel. They're light and very comfortable. I have titanium frames which are very light so the combination is a great plus. My prescription was rather different, but your company went out of its way to accommodate me. I would highly recommend these lenses to anyone and I thank OPTIMA for going out of their way to make me happy.
